‘Higher than we would like’: Inflation data could put Labor under pressure

Assistant Treasurer Dan Mulino explains what Australians should expect after inflation data is released tomorrow.
“Inflation is a global phenomenon at the moment,” Mr Mulino told Sky News Australia.
“We’ve seen inflation jumping around a bit month to month.
“It is higher than we would like.
“We’re doing a lot to put downward pressure on inflation.
“We’ve got our eye on what is the central set of issues that Australians want us to be focused on, which is cost of living and providing services that they need.”
