Holocaust museum slams Tim Walz after wildly comparing Minnesota children to Anne Frank

A prominent Holocaust museum has slammed Governor Tim Walz for comparing the children of Minnesota to Anne Frank hiding from Nazis.
During a press conference, the governor suggested that children in Minnesota are fearful of ICE the same way Anne Frank was afraid of the Nazis.
Walz argued that the aggressive tactics used by Immigration & Customs Enforcement have caused children to not leave their homes out of fear.
"Anne Frank was targeted and murdered solely because she was Jewish. Leaders making false equivalencies to her experience for political purposes is never acceptable,” the statement read.
“Despite tensions in Minneapolis, exploiting the Holocaust is deeply offensive, especially as antisemitism surges.”
