Homeland Security slams the New York Times’ ‘misleading’ reporting on latest ICE shooting

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has eviscerated the New York Times over its reporting on the latest ICE shooting in Minneapolis.
On Wednesday, an Immigration & Customs Enforcement agent shot a Venezuelan illegal immigrant in the leg for allegedly assaulting the officer with a shovel.
The NY Times’ reporting of the incident, however, conveniently omitted the fact that the immigrant assaulted the officer before he was shot.
The article’s headline also failed to address why the migrant was shot, saying, ‘Federal Agent Shoots Immigrant in Minneapolis, Homeland Security Says’.
Homeland Security responded to the New York Times’ post, blasting the headline as “despicably misleading”.
