President Donald Trump said the US will “very probably hit” Iran again tonight and threatened to bring back a naval blockade after the two sides traded strikes overnight. Trump, currently at the NATO summit in Turkey, earlier said he believed the memorandum of understanding “is over,” but that talks could continue.
Meanwhile, Trump adopted a more positive tone toward NATO following meetings today, saying leaders had a “great meeting.” NATO’s chief has touted increased European and Canadian defense spending — a major focus for Trump.
