Denmark’s Foreign Minister claims “fundamental disagreements” remain over Greenland following discussions in the White House.
The foreign ministers of the two Nordic countries held talks with US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, hoping to quell significant disagreement with Washington.
This comes as US President Donald Trump has reiterated his call for Greenland to become part of America for its security.
Speaking at the White House, the American leader dismissed questions about what taking the island would mean for the future of NATO.
“I can’t rely on Denmark being able to fend themselves off,” he said.
