Fawkner Property Group’s Chris Garnaut expresses his love for Australia ahead of Australia Day 2026.

“There are two, I suppose, reasons. Number one is I love my country, I respect my country … she only has, contrary to popular opinion, one national day,” Mr Garnaut told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“And secondly, Rita, and more importantly, we were owed shopping centres.”
