‘If we have to make arrests, we will’: NSW Police will be ‘in force’ during planned protests

New South Wales Police Assistant Commissioner Peter McKenna gave an update on planned pro-Palestine gatherings across Sydney’s CBD over the next few days.
“I am hoping that they understand it is illegal at the moment to breach these public declarations,” Mr McKenna said.
“We will be there in force as we always are … to keep people safe.
“If we have to make arrests, we’ll make arrests.”
