The war with Iran has cost $37.5 billion so far, according to US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, but the bill is likely much higher, experts have told CNN. He and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine testified before Congress to seek additional funding for the war.
Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan say they intercepted aerial attacks today. Meanwhile, Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen have warned Saudi vessels to refrain from using the Red Sea, a move that Trump has downplayed.
