Iran says it didn’t request negotiations with U.S.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has firmly denied reports of any recent contact or negotiation request with the United States, rejecting claims of engagement with U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Araqchi said there has been “no contact” in recent days and stressed that Tehran has not sought negotiations with Washington.
