Former UK Labour MP Denis MacShane reacts to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer apologising to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein for appointing Peter Mandelson as UK ambassador to the US.
Mr MacShane was sentenced to six months in prison in December 2013 in an expenses scandal.
“They decided to send me to prison to make an example of me,” Mr MacShane told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
“I wish to god that Peter Mandelson had looked at that and the other MP’s who got into serious trouble and maybe rethought his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.”
