Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has been blasted for his latest comments over his brief suspension from television.
On Sunday, Kimmel appeared at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards and claimed his show being pulled from the air felt like a "near-death experience".
Kimmel’s suspension from television came following his controversial remarks about the assassination of Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk.
During Kimmel’s appearance at the show, the host of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ won an award for Best Talk Show before speaking to reporters about his six-day suspension from television after he was nearly pulled off the air.
"It was almost a near-death experience for me. Of course, not literally, but I did feel a little bit like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn watching their own funeral when all this stuff happened," Kimmel said.
