King Charles has used his annual Christmas message to highlight the need for kindness, care and compassion this festive season, referring to division both in the UK and across the globe.

Both King Charles and Queen Camilla led members of the Royal Family to their Christmas service in Sandringham.

King Charles’ Christmas message was recorded inside Westminster Abbey.
