Kouri Richins Sentenced to Life in Prison for Her Husband’s Murder

Kouri Richins, the Utah author convicted of killing her husband, was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday on what would have been his 44th birthday. Prosecutors say she laced her husband’s cocktail with a fatal dose of fentanyl and then later wrote a children’s book on grief. In court, Richins addressed her three sons, saying she has "done plenty of things I am not proud of."
