Kristi Noem announces immediate deployment of bodycams for Minneapolis ICE agents

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the DHS will deploy body cameras to every active federal officer in Minneapolis, effective immediately.
Noem has plans to expand the program nationwide if funding permits.
The move comes after recent shootings in Minneapoli,s which have drawn extensive scrutiny around body camera use.
"I just spoke with @RealTomHoman @ICEdirector @CBPCommissioner," Noem wrote on X.
"Effective immediately, we are deploying body cameras to every officer in the field in Minneapolis.”
This comes as Democrats have ratcheted up threats of impeachment proceedings against Kristi Noem.
