Labor government pledges an extra $26m in Queensland flood support

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese provides an update on the ongoing extreme weather in Queensland as central parts of the state are on flood watch.
“An additional $26 million of support in partnership with the Queensland government, that brings the support for this region up to $66 million”, Mr Albanese said.
“At times like this, it is local government that is best positioned to really provide that immediate assistance.”
