Lack of joint party room meetings about Bondi reforms contributed to Coalition split

Nationals Senator Matt Canavan details the lack of a joint party room meeting between the Liberal Party and the National Party.
“A joint party room meeting … the principal job of that meeting is to go through the legislation that may be up for debate that week and clear the air if there’s any issues,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“There are major fundamental changes to freedom of speech … we didn’t hold a joint party room meeting to discuss the matter.”
