Lindsay Clancy prayed for her children after told ‘they’re safe in heaven with God’ chaplain recalls

Sheila Cavanaugh, a board-certified chaplain at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of seven years, was called to testify Thursday morning.
Cavanaugh testified that she held Clancy’s hand on the morning of Jan. 31, 2023 after she’d been extubated to comfort her and that Clancy said "I am so glad my children are safe."
Cavanaugh said she replied, "Lindsay, your children are safe. They’re safe in heaven with God."
She said she and Clancy prayed for the children.
