The Lindsay Clancy murder trial continues Wednesday, Aug. 19, for Day 16 of testimony, as the defense continues its case that the 36-year-old Duxbury woman is not criminally responsible for the deaths of her three children in January 2023.
When court resumes Wednesday morning, clinical and forensic psychologist Dr. Paul Zeizel. is expected to retake the stand for more questioning from Reddington and cross-examination by the prosecution.
Zeizel is the the psychologist engaged by the defense to examine Clancy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on February 4, 2023. He has since visited Clancy 45 times at Tewksbury Hospital where she’s in custody, he said.
Zeizel testified Tuesday that Clancy called Patrick Clancy from Brigham and Women’s hospital room using his cell phone, telling Patrick "she heard a male voice ordering her, telling her that she didn’t have any choice, but she had to kill her children and then kill herself."
