LIVE: Inner London Crown Court for the sentencing of Robert Rhodes, who has been brought to justice nearly a decade after the brutal murder of his wife, Dawn.

In a rare and historic "double jeopardy" retrial, 52-year-old Robert Rhodes was found guilty in December of the 2016 murder of his wife at their home in Redhill, Surrey. Rhodes had originally been acquitted in 2017 after successfully convincing a jury he acted in self-defense. However, his "web of lies" collapsed in 2021 when the couple’s child—who was under 10 at the time of the killing—came forward to reveal they had been manipulated and groomed by Rhodes to help stage the crime scene.
