NATO leaders are gathering in Ankara for a summit on July 7 and 8, amid pressure from President Donald Trump for Europe to step up defense spending and following months of transatlantic friction over the Iran war and Greenland.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler and Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz are expected to deliver speeches at the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum. On the sidelines of the forum Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is expected to deliver remarks.
