Major budget blowout for Brisbane 2032 Olympics

It’s been revealed the cost of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics will bear no resemblance to what former premier Annastacia Palaszczuk promised.
Chairman of the Brisbane Games, Andrew Liveris, has confirmed the price will increase to $4.9 million operating cost.
Mr Liveris says Premier David Crisafulli’s decision to host medal events in regional areas is one factor in a major blowout.
