This festive season, air-flown turkeys from Russia are making their debut in Malaysia. The government says the imports – which are certified halal, can help strengthen Malaysia’s food security and enhance the halal certification ecosystem. CNA’s Melissa Goh checks out how the Russian turkeys are being received in the predominantly Muslim country.
