Mamdani talks rumored Taylor-Travis wedding at MSG, World Cup & July 4 celebrations amid heat wave

As New York City braces for a week of cruel summer temperatures that could push temperatures to 100 degrees, Mayor Zohran Mamdani isn’t sweating reports that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce plan to marry at Madison Square Garden. He also urged caution while watching World Cup games and celebrating July 4th.
"My recommendation to all New Yorkers is to stay inside and stay cool," Mamdani said during a June 30 news conference when asked about the rumored wedding and whether fans should expect street closures. "And if you happen to be getting married at Madison Square Garden, you will be staying inside and you will be staying cool."
