Former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has clashed with ‘Real Time’ host Bill Maher over the arrest of former CNN host Don Lemon.
Lemon was recently arrested and is now facing federal civil rights charges after attending a protest that disrupted a church service in Minnesota.
Lemon has argued that he attended the protest as a member of the press; however, MTG said she didn’t think it was “journalism”.
Maher had argued that it was “not good” to have Lemon arrested, prompting a response from Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Greene expressed that the federal law protects religious exercise at places of worship, accusing him of violating the “FACE Act”.
