Marjorie Taylor Greene has criticised Donald Trump’s strikes on Venezuela, arguing the president’s focus should be on domestic policy.
In a wide-ranging interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker, Greene said the administration should be targeting Mexico rather than Venezuela.
The Republican congresswoman labelled the strike and capture of Maduro as part of "the same Washington playbook” that Americans are sick and tired of.
After being one of his most loyal allies, Greene broke with the president in recent months over the administration’s handling of the Epstein files.
Following months of back and forth with the president, Greene announced in November she would be resigning from Congress.
