Mark Kelly: Tucson vets show support for senator | FOX 10 Phoenix

A group of veterans in Tucson are standing behind Sen. Mark Kelly, as Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth tries to demote Sen. Kelly’s military rank and retirement pay.
In January 2026, Hegseth announced he had issued a letter of censure to Kelly in response to a Nov. 18, 2025 social media video where Kelly and five other members of Congress told members of the military, "You can refuse illegal orders."
After the video was released, President Donald Trump threatened the lawmakers with jail time, saying the video was "seditious behavior, punishable by death." Reporter Paris Fransway has more.
