0 October 7, 2026 19:24

Brett McGurk, former deputy assistant for national security affairs for the Middle East and North Africa and author of Brink: Inside the Race to Free the October 7th Hostages, says there can be no “political horizon or future” as long as Hamas maintains its claim to power in Gaza, while Israel’s narrow right-wing coalition leaves the government with little room to maneuver. He speaks with Kailey Leinz and Joe Mathieu on Bloomberg’s "Balance of Power."
