An East Valley cellphone store employee faces a felony charge after police say he sent himself a sexual image from a customer’s phone.
Court documents obtained by Arizona’s Family showed that Nathan Daniel Whipple, 31, is accused of unlawful disclosure of intimate images and was arrested on Thursday.
Police said the victim went to the AT&T store at a shopping plaza near Dobson and Baseline roads on Dec. 30 to ask for help with her iPhone.
Once the victim got home later, she started using her iPad, which is synced to her phone and noticed that a message had been sent while she was at the store, which was a nude photo of herself that she told police was in a private, password-protected folder.
Stephanie Duprey reports.
