​Waverley Council in Sydney’s east will meet today to debate the future of the Bondi Beach footbridge which was used during the December 14 terrorist attack.

New South Wales Premier Chris Minns wants to demolish the bridge, while the local community calls for a permanent mural.

Local Mayor Will Nemesh says community consultation is ongoing.
