The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System Board of Directors voted 12-1 on Thursday, Jan. 15, to oppose the expansion of driverless taxis and rideshares in the region until adequate oversight and regulations are in place. The vote comes as companies such as Waymo seek to launch a robotaxi service in San Diego.
