R&B superstar Ne-Yo visits TODAY to talk about his new country-inspired album “Highway 79,” and the 20-year anniversary of his debut record “In My Own Words.” He shares how his mom came up with the title of his new album, and how both his childhood and Reba McEntire inspired the project, saying that her song “Fancy” was the “first country song [he] ever heard.” He also discusses his thoughts on using AI to create music, and shares the five artists he has been most inspired by.
