‘Neither side will be satisfied’: Pressure builds for a deal between US and Iran

Deakin University Global Islamic Politics Chair Professor Greg Barton says there is a “possibility of a deal” between the United States and Iran.
“I think it’s very likely we will see military action being taken from US Navy aircraft carriers and other assets,” Professor Barton told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“The deal Trump is looking for is the dismantling of the Iranian nuclear program.
“That’s the one thing in which the Iranian Revolutionary Guard regime may be willing to give up.
“It’s very likely that neither side will be satisfied, and it will escalate.”
