Writer and broadcaster Kel Richards analyses new laws coming in to mandate Australian supermarkets and service stations to accept cash.

“We have, for a long time been totally dependent on our plastic money, on our cards,” Mr Richards said.

“Laws have been passed, which means major retailers, major businesses, the big ones, will have to accept cash.”
