Labor has opened up a commanding two-party preferred lead as a new Redbridge poll shows the government ahead 56-44 over the former Coalition parties.
The result returns Labor to landslide-level territory while One Nation surges to a record high and Coalition support falls to its lowest level recorded.
Analysts say the surge is being driven by concerns over security and dissatisfaction with the major parties’ leadership and unity.
