New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon has decided to extend the public assembly restrictions declaration.
“It is really important, and I reinforce, this is a time for calm, it is a time for peace, it is a time for the community to come together,” Mr Lanyon said.
“Today’s decision to extend that declaration is about ensuring community safety.”
