Obama Foundation CEO Valerie Jarrett told attendees at the Obama Presidential Center’s grand opening that while the center is named for the Obamas, it belongs to "you," or broadly speaking, to the people.
"This is a tribute to all those who made their journey possible," said Jarrett, a former White House senior adviser to the Hawaii-born president, who has known the Obamas for decades. "You’re going to find the stories of ordinary people who did extraordinary things."
