‘Over 100 fires’: Government claims it wasn’t ‘underprepared’ despite angry locals

The Emergency Management Minister Kristy McBain discusses the Australian government’s response to the ongoing bushfires in Victoria and floods in Queensland.
“I don’t think there’s any level of underpreparedness,” Ms McBain told Sky News Australia.
“On that day, there were over 100 fires across Victoria.”
