A record number of young researchers — more than 400 of them from 57 countries — are in Singapore for the annual Global Young Scientists Summit. The event provides young scientists the chance to engage with established figures, including Nobel laureates. Organisers say gathering the best minds together to solve humanity’s challenges will help the common man and the common good. The five-day event runs until Jan 9. Alxis Thng reports.
