In China’s mountainous regions, elderly care faces unique challenges due to scattered populations and diverse needs. Ren Linmei from Lishui, east China’s Zhejiang Province, is one of nearly 1,900 caretakers who regularly visit seniors’ homes to check on their health, creating a new model for community-based care in remote areas.
