PC: Arvinder Singh Lovely Slams Rahul Gandhi Over ‘Second Class Citizen’ Remark On Sikh Community

0 February 4, 2026 07:18

On this news bulletin, BJP leader Arvinder Singh Lovely launches a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi following his controversial remarks regarding the Sikh community during a foreign visit. Lovely stated, ‘Sikh community inco kisi bhee keemat pe maaf karnevali nahi hai’ (The Sikh community will not forgive him at any cost), asserting that Gandhi’s comments have caused widespread anguish. He accused the Congress leader of being a ‘habitual abuser’ of Sikhs, citing past instances involving former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Lovely highlighted that prominent Sikh leaders in Delhi have left the Congress due to this mindset. The discussion also touched upon the Congress party’s opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), which Lovely argued was intended to provide refuge to persecuted Sikhs from neighboring countries. He further questioned the Congress party’s alleged agreements with the Communist Party of China and funding of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, framing the current leadership as disconnected from the nation’s integrity.
