Plan to livestream execution creates ‘theater’ out of death penalty, Amnesty says

Amnesty International UK called the US plan to livestream the execution by firing squad of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan ‘barbaric and deeply shocking.’ Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people and wounding 32 others at the military base in Texas in 2009.
