‘Playing with fire’: Trump’s scathing warning to Minneapolis Mayor amid ICE conversation

US President Donald Trump has warned Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey that he is “playing with fire”.
Trump’s message came on Truth Social, where the US president unleashed on the mayor for comments he made.
Frey had made comments regarding a “productive conversation” he had with Border Czar Tom Homan, calling for an ICE operation to end “as quickly as possible” in Minneapolis.
“I also made it clear that Minneapolis does not and will not enforce federal immigration laws, and that we will remain focused on keeping our neighbours and streets safe. City leaders will continue to stay in conversation with Mr Homan and his team,” Frey said.
Trump unleashed on Frey’s remarks, saying the Minneapolis Mayor’s statement was a “very serious violation of the law” and that he was “playing with fire”.
