Prince Harry and several other notable figures have had their first day in court amid their legal action against the publishers of the Daily Mail.
The group claim they have been the victim of unlawful information gathering from Associated Newspapers Limited, claims the publisher has strongly denied.
Joining Prince Harry are high-profile co-claimants such as Elizabeth Hurley, Sadie Frost, Sir Elton, and Baroness Doreen Lawrence.
The group have alleged Associated Newspapers Limited published stories written using information that was illegally obtained through phone hacking, blagging, and bugging.
Their barrister David Sherborne told the court there was a culture of unlawful information gathering across Mail papers.
Prince Harry’s claims centres around 14 articles published between 2001 and 2013, many about his relationship with Chelsy Davy.
