Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza
By Rodrigo Santos Andrade
Gunmen opened fire on a Jewish Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach, killing 12 people including Rabbi Eli Schlanger and injuring at least 29 others, one of them a child. The attack occurred on a Sunday evening as thousands were enjoying the beach, with the gunmen using semi-automatic weapons in what authorities are calling an act of terrorism and anti-Semitism. Police raids are underway in Western Sydney as part of the investigation into Australia’s second deadliest massacre.
