Ransom notes have surfaced in the disappearance case of Nancy Guthrie, Pima County Sheriff’s officials confirmed Tuesday, as reports emerge of possible blood found outside her southern Arizona home.

CBS News is reporting that blood was found inside the home. Once the crime scene was cleared, true crime correspondent Briana Whitney was able to get closer to the home and reported seeing droplets outside the front door, but law enforcement has not confirmed whether that is blood.

Austin Walker has the latest from the Catalina Foothills, in the outskirts of Tucson.
