Russian sea captain Vladimir Motin was sentenced to six years in jail for his failure to prevent a collision that occurred when his vessel, Solong, struck the Stena Immaculate oil tanker in the North Sea in March 2025, killing 38-year-old crew member of the Solong Mark Pernia.
