Singapore’s aviation industry has attracted over S$750 million since the last airshow in 2024. That’s expected to create some 600 new jobs over the next five years. The Economic Development Board said this reflects Singapore’s position as a trusted and stable hub for aerospace growth. This year, the Royal Australian Air Force’s F-35 will make its debut, while the Royal Malaysian Air Force returns after an eight-year hiatus. There will also be close to 40 aircraft lining the tarmac, showcasing the latest in aerospace innovation. The Singapore Airshow is expecting its largest turnout of more than 100,000 visitors this year. Claudia Lim reports.
