‘Somali thugs’ rob conservative influencer before driving on icy footpath in wild getaway

Conservative influencer and journalist Nick Sortor had a violent encounter after a “thug” reportedly stole his $US1,000 camera.
The wild incident took place in Minneapolis’ Cedar Riverside area, Minnesota, an area that’s believed to have a heavy Somali American community.
Sortor posted a video of the incident to X, with his post further explaining how the situation unfolded.
Shortly after the conservative influencer posted to social media, the FBI’s rapid response account responded, saying, “We’re on it”.
While reporting in Minneapolis earlier in January, Sortor’s vehicle had been vandalised by anti-Immigration & Customs Enforcement protesters.
