Sprinkles Cupcakes Beverly Hills in 2008 and La Jolla, 2011. Larry Himmel went behind the scenes with owner Candace Nelson to get the secrets of their sweet success. On January 13, 2011 the popular chain opened its eighth location on Villa La Jolla Drive. The Bachelorette’s Ali Fedotowsky and her fiancé Roberto Martinez were on hand for the opening. Sprinkles donated 25,000 dollars to San Diego’s Dress for Success.
On December 31, 2025 the company announced it’s closing all of its stores nationwide.
