The key to deciphering Tangut script

The Xixia people created the Tangut script around 1036. With over 6,000 characters, it has a structure similar to Chinese. Unearthed at Heishuicheng in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Pearl in the Palm is a Chinese–Tangut reference text that served as a key to deciphering the script.
The Xixia Imperial Tombs are a necropolis of the Xixia Dynasty, located in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of north-west China, and formed from the 11th to 13th centuries.
